Chandrababu Naidu settles Jammalamadugu ticket row
Amaravati: The dispute between the aspirants of Jammalamadugu Assembly constituency, Minister C Adinarayana Reddy, MLC P Ramasubba Reddy, was settled in the presence of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu here on Friday.
According to the agreement, Ramasubba Reddy will resign from MLC post and contest as Assembly candidate in Jammalamadugu and Adinarayana Reddy will fight Lok Sabha election from Kadapa constituency.
To compensate Adinarayana Reddy for giving up his claim on Jammalamadugu Assembly, the Legislative Council membership being vacated by Ramasubba Reddy will be given to a member of Adinarayana Reddy’s family or anyone chosen by him. To sum up, those who are ready to contest LS seat will get MLC seat too.
As per the agreement, Ramasubba Reddy handed over his resignation from Council to party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. Later, both the leaders announced in a press conference at the Secretariat that they would work together for the victory of TDP
