Annadata sukhibhava : RTGS to prepare farmers list

Guntur: The State government has started process to identify farmers and tenant farmers to extend financial assistance under the 'Annadata Sukhibaha Scheme' which was introduced recently.

Principal secretary (agriculture) B Rajaksekhar entrusted the responsibility of preparing the list of farmers to Real Time Governance Society, which given e-mail IDs to AEOs, MEOs and MPEOs to send the list of farmers. 

According to the sources in the agriculture department, the RTGS has already having 85 per cent of the farmers list and it will send the village-wise list to officials. The officials include the name of eligible farmers and tenant farmers and update the list and send it to government. 

The aim of the government is to extend helping hand under the scheme to all the eligible. After identifying the farmers, the government will pay the first instalment by March-end. The government will give an opportunity to enroll the names of farmers and tenant farmers whose names were not mentioned in the list. 

If owner the land dies, ownership of land may not be transferred. The list of farmers will be prepared in 15 days. 

Joint director of agriculture G Vijaya Bharati said, "We have started the process of preparing the list of farmers to extend benefits under the Annadata Sukhibhava. The RTGS has already sent email-ID to MEOs, MPEOs and AEOs. 

They will prepare village-wise and mandal-wise farmers and tenant farmers list and send it to the government."
