Candlelight rally taken out in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The members of Vijayawada Sanitary Dealers Association on Monday evening took out a candlelight rally condoling the death of CRPF Jawans who were killed in terrorist attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on February 14.

The rally started from Prakasam road and passed through Dornakal road, Civil court, Besant road and Eluru road. The participants raised slogans in favour of soldiers and against terrorism on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the association president B Ramakrishna and secretary K Anil Kumar condemned the attack of terrorist on CRPF Jawans and termed it as a cowardice act. 

They said that the Central government should take stern action to drive away the terrorist from the country. They said that the association would collect donation and handover it to the Collector to reach the families of the Jawans.
