Bhadradri EO, family booked for dowry harassment 

Kothagudem: The Executive Officer of Bhadrachalam temple, T Ramesh Babu, and his family members were booked in a dowry harassment case at the Sathupalli police station. According to sources, the EO’s daughter-in-law Sindhura lodged a complaint at the police station against the EO, his wife, their son and daughter.

Sidhura married Ramesh Babu’s son Ananthnag last year. Sathupalli Circle Inspector T Suresh informed that an FIR was registered against the accused under Sections 498a of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.  

Meanwhile, Sindhura and her family members met Khammam Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal on Friday and sought his help. They stated that there was possible threat to their lives by the EO as he enjoys political clout.
