Two nominations rejected in Graduate MLC polls 

Kakinada: Two nominations were rejected by authorities in East and West Godavari Graduate MLC polls. Disclosing the MLC nomination details to media persons here on Wednesday, East Godavari joint collector A Mallikarjuna said that the scrutiny committee consisting of senior IAS officer and election observer J SV Prasad and East Godavari Collector Karthikeya Mishra rejected two nominations on the grounds of insufficient information of the total 51 papers filed.  

The process of scrutiny was conducted from 11 am to 3 pm on Wednesday. The rejected nominations are Kammili Nagaraju and Patangada Raghu. These two nominations were rejected on the ground that they have not submitted the certified copies of electoral rolls.  The Joint collector said that the nominations can be withdrawn on or before 3 pm on March 8 and the final list will be published after the withdrawals.
