Vice President, Senior Cabinet Ministers to Address ICAI National Cost Convention

New Delhi : The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is organising the National Cost Convention 2018.

The convention will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on March 16th and 17th.

M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the national cost convention as the chief guest.

P. P. Chaudhary, union minister of state for law and justice and corporate affairs and Injeti Srinivas, secretary, ministry of corporate affairs, government of India, have also kindly consented to grace the inaugural session as guests of honour.

CMA Sanjay Gupta, president of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) will deliver the welcome address.

During this session, MOS, law and justice and corporate affairs will release two research publications of the Institute - "Cost Governance" and "Self-Sustainability Model for Panchayats through Capacity Building".

The institute will organise a special session at 1400 hours on 16th March 2018 which will be chaired by Suresh Prabhu, union minister of commerce and industry.

During the session, the Institute and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will enter into a MOU for training of two lacs youth in the area of finance and accounting including GST under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

On the second day of the convention, Piyush Goyal, union minister of railways and coal will chair a special session.

Shiv Pratap Shukla, minister of state for finance has also consented to be the chief guest for the valedictory programme on March 17th.

The NCC 2018 will be a great occasion for all the CMAs from across the globe to assemble and deliberate upon the important economic development nationally and globally and come to a conclusion on the steps to be taken.
