Hyderabad: Heritage Foods has setup its own ultrahigh temperature (UTH) milk processing and packaging plant near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Heritage’s Vice Chairperson and MD Nara Bhuvaneswari launched its new variants- UHT Toned Milk & Double Toned Milk in different pack sizes of 100 ml, 200ml and 500ml at Hyderabad.

The packaging for the milk product is judiciously thought about as it is recyclable and environmentally safe for use. The milk can be stored at room temperature with shelf life of over 90 days. The prices are as follows - TM 100ml- Rs 6, & DTM 100ml – Rs 5; 200ml – Rs 9 & 500ml- Rs 20.

Commenting on the new development, Executive Director Brahmani Nara said, “The new processing plant is installed adjacent to the existing one near Vishakhapatnam. We have taken measures to ensure the premises of the facility are hygienic and air purification measures are in place.

UTH milk is best suited for both tea and coffee. We ensure that the packaged product stays fresh all the way through its supply chain and even when it is stored for a longer period of time. The idea behind an additional facility was to ensure that the product reaches out to more number of people”.
