Update: 2018-01-18 06:14 IST

Undeniably, this is the season of fitness for glam divas who are shedding extra flab to get into shape and regain their gorgeous looks. With competition brewing, popular divas are hitting the gym and indulging in strenuous workouts besides adopting yoga and nature cure to cut excess kilos  by all means.

Leading the pack is none-other-than Anushka, torch-bearer of female-centric movies, followed by the most-happening Rakul Preet Singh, Amala Paul, Hansika and Hebah Patel, who have chosen different fitness regimens to get the shapely body.

“Anuksha seems to be inspiring her younger colleagues by indulging in strenuous workouts and dietary regimen to become thinner and stunning. She has spent the last three months in Coimbatore and some places in Tamil Nadu along with performing yoga and nature cure methods to shed excess kilos. Her latest pics on her twitter handle vindicate her commitment and effort,” says fitness trainer Venkat who worked on the looks of Ram Charan and Rana.

Even new-age actress and the most-happening Rakul Preet Singh who is making waves in T-town, didn’t mind taking a break for a couple of weeks to shed flab and missed one or two offers for the same. “She was flooded with offers, but she resolved to take a break and cut down her excess pounds.

After finishing her work for the Hindi film ‘Aiyaaray’, she didn’t take up offers, instead spent 60 to 80 days in shaping up her body and engaged a special trainer to help her out and got into perfect shape,” says a source, close to the actress.

Going a step further, another teen actress Hebah Patel took almost six months break and hit the gym with a vengeance.

“Hebah almost became a fitness freak after spending more time on treadmill, cycling and weights for the last six and seven months and slashed extra pounds for good. She is looking more stunning and fit after the weight loss and raring to go,” says director Samudra.
