Media to be blamed for controversies?
Over the past two weeks, the media landscape has been dominated by the campaign against casting couch in the Telugu film industry. While the protests began with actress Sri Reddy launching an attack against the film personalities, things escalated with her hitting out at one of Tollywood’s big names and leader of Jana Sena party, Pawan Kalyan.
With the actress expressing her displeasure on the actor in explicit language and indecent curses, the news channels are being seen off late siding with the controversies and try to do character assassination by using freedom of speech as a disguise.
Showcasing the ugly side of media, a video has gone viral urging for the need to boycott yellow media.
Shared on Twitter by a Jana Sena party activist, the video shows the media channels handling various controversies or rather focusing on making controversies.
