'Nela Ticket' Audio Launch Highlights

Update: 2018-05-11 16:43 IST

The audio function of 'Nela Ticket' was held on Thursday evening in the presence of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan said, "I like Ravi Teja garu a lot and that's why I am here.  When I was not even an actor, I saw his films.  Many years ago, I happened to meet him in Madras during the preview of 'Aaj Ka Goonda Raj'.  I was not a hero then.

So, he may not remember me!  There is a lot of perseverance behind his performance.  Without 'badha' and 'avedhana' in an actor's heart, he can't have great comic timing.  That's why I like Ravi Teja and his comedy.  He has reached these heights by overcoming so many obstacles in life.  Yes, I do think that he acts shamelessly.

I can't give up shame so easily like him.  I find it difficult to do that in front of so many people on the sets.  Ravi Teja is an inspiration to me for this reason.  I wish that director Kalyan Krishna scores a hat-trick.  I wish the music director, cinematographer and everyone else all the best.  I knew Ram Talluri as a philanthropist many years ago.  He is a noble person who practices charity.  I may not personally know music director Shakti but I know his music.  His work speaks for him.  That's why I like him."

Ravi Teja said, "Kalyan Krishna will definitely score a hat-trick with this film.  Sashikanth has given excellent tunes.  I liked him even when I listened to 'Fidaa' songs.  Jagapathi Babu garu is one of the few honest and straightforward persons I know.  He is like Pawan Kalyan garu in this regard.

So many people give us compliments, some of which are unforgettable.  Ten years ago, I happened to talk to Pawan garu.  He told me this: 'Meeru antha siggu lekunda yela act chestharandi?'.  This is one of the best compliments I have ever received.  In the past, we used to meet a lot.  I wish Ram Talluri garu, a passionate businessman-turned-producer, all the best.  Kalyan Krishna is more a friend than a director to me.  He mingles easily with everybody."

Producer Ram Talluri said, "It was Ravi Teja garu who gave me the opportunity to make this film.  If it's OK with him, I want to make films consecutively with him.  'Nela Ticket' will definitely meet your expectations."

Malavika Sharma, the film's heroine, said, "Today I am going to be very honest.  I am really, really scared.  I have never been in front of such a huge audience.  Thank you, Pawan sir for gracing this occasion.  I am a very ordinary girl with not-so-ordinary dreams.

I would always imagine myself being in a movie whenever I watched one.  The makers of this film have given wings to my dreams.  Before this movie, I had the lowest self-esteem ever.

I was not sure if I will be able to perform or not.  It's Kalyan Krishna who motivated me.  He taught me and made me a positive person.  Ravi Teja sir is an exuberant, passionate person.  Although Mumbai is my birthplace, it's Hyderabad that gave worth to my dreams.  I hope this city continues to support me.  And I want the audience to accept me as a Telugu ammayi."

Harish Shankar said, "It's Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who gave me life as a director.  It's Power Star Pawan Kalyan garu who raised my stature.  There is a similarity between Ravi Teja garu and Pawan Kalyan garu.

They have given life to so many directors.  Since yesterday, I was excited to meet Pawan garu.  It's because I am his fan.  As I was shaking his hand now, I shivered.

If Guntur Seshendra garu's poetry has reached many people today, it's because of Pawan garu.  It has been used in a medley song. I am following Pawan garu's political speeches.  His speeches give me a high.

As a director, I like his mannerisms during speeches.  He recently did a 'pada yatra' in scorching temperature in Vijayawada.  He has sacrificed crores of income (through films) and chosen politics. Producer Ram Talluri garu is not in the film industry to make money.  He is here because of passion."

Jagapathi Babu said, "Twelve years ago, I had told Chiranjeevi garu that I like Pawan Kalyan garu as a person.  In 'Budget Padmanabham', I was the hero and Ravi Teja was a character artiste.  In 'Nela Ticket', it's the other way round.

And I appreciate Ravi that he has been the same person even after achieving so much.  I wish the producer and his wife, who have made this film out of pure passion, all the success."

Director Kalyan Krishna said, "It's my father's birthday today.  I want to dedicate this film to him.  But since this film is the effort of many people, I can only dedicate my effort to him.  It's because of Nagarjuna garu that I turned a director (with 'Soggade Chinni Nayana').  He is like God to me.  'Chuttu janam, madhyalo manam' - that's the point of the story of 'Nela Ticket'.

Although I couldn't do my first film with Ravi Teja garu, he has always given me the strength to keep going, over the years.  God doesn't give power to us without a reason.  If he has made you a tea-seller, it means he wants you to employ a few people.  God has given endless power to Pawan Kalyan garu.  If he has given him so much power, it means God is expecting so much from him."
