Controversy Clears By Amar Akbar Anthony Team

The makers of 'Amar Akbar Antony' recently released the song ‘Don Bosco’ from the film. The song has been receiving a positive response from the audience but the song itself has now landed the film in a controversy too.

The members of 'Don Bosco Seva Kendra' association stated that Don Bosco is a saintly figure of the 19th century and established several educational institutes around the world and shared their opinion that using the name of a prominent writer like Don Bosco for a song like that is not right. 

On this note, the association members have met the producers, director Sreenu Vaitla and music composer SS Thaman and demanded to change the lyrics. As per their request, the makers have changed the song lyrics from ‘Don Bosco’ to ‘Don Brasco.’ The producers also officially announced that they will always respect sentiments and feelings of every community.

As the makers got convinced, the controversy ended on a happy note. Starring Rav Teja and Ileana D'Cruz, action entertainer ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ is all set to hit the screens on November 16th. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled this project.
