It’s a gripping thriller, says Jr Bellamkonda Srinivas

Young actor Bellamkonda Srinivas claims that his upcoming film ‘Kavacham’ is a gripping thriller which happens in 24 hours. “I play a cop and fight against illegal cases filed against me. But the story takes an interesting twist in the second part,” said the actor, while talking to the media. Playing a cop for the first time, Srinivas watched the movies of Amitabh Bachchan to get his look and expressions right. “I watched Big B’s cop stories like ‘Zanjeer’ and others,” he adds. He has a word of praise for the new director Srinivas Mamilla for his command over the script and in ‘extracting the best from the actors’. “He surprised all of us,” he points out. 

On sharing screen space with the two pretty damsels-Kajal and Mehreen, he said, “Kajal and Mehreen have important roles and are good at their job. I like working with star heroines,” he informs. On his flops like ‘Saakshyam’, he says “I didn’t come out of my home for a few days,” he points out and would continue doing action movies. “I am fascinated with action films from my childhood and also you can make different action scripts over predictable love stories,” he reasons. Sharing a few details about his other film with director Teja, he adds “We wrapped up the shooting part within no time and would be releasing it in March,” and for now ‘okayed’ three big films.
