Langer Houz double murder case solved

Hyderabad: Langer Houz police solved the double murder case of two women in its limits and arrested the accused who had killed the duo to get their earrings. According to police, two women Sumithra and Yadamma died in a suspicious condition. Their bodies were found near Musi river in Langer Houz police station limits. 

Police verified CCTV footage based on the information provided by the family members and relatives of the two deceased. During the investigation it was found that Giri had a habit of drinking toddy at Meerpet toddy shop. When he was drinking toddy, he noticed the two women who had come there to consume toddy. 

The accused offered them toddy and when they had lost consciousness, he took both of them to bushes and killed them by hitting on their heads repeatedly with stone.  On interrogation, the accused confessed that he killed them to rob the earrings from them. Police clarified that the earrings were made of roll gold.
