RRB Recruitment Admit Card Releasing on August 5: Check How to download Here

Carrying out the recruitment drive of Indian Railways, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the release of Admit cards for the Recruitment examination. RRB being an autonomous recruitment body carries out the process of providing jobs to the youths in India in various Departments of Government of India. Railway Board is divided into 16 regions which in turn provide all the details regarding the release of RRB admit card, examination dates and result of the recruitment drive.

In Centralized Employment Notification (CEN 01/2018) the vacancies in Indian Railways was announced for Group C, Group D by RRB. The recruitment drive is being considered as the Record Breaking Employment Drive providing around 90,000 jobs for the applicants of this recruitment drive. The vacancy for Group C is around 26,500 which is most likely to be increased up to 60,000. Group D also has around 62,907 vacancies for Grade Officer Posts. For these posts which are in total around 68,000, there were candidates for about 2.25 crores who applied. The news is really surprising for the whole world let alone the nation.

RRB Admit Card

The Regional RRBs will be publishing the admit cards on their own official websites. The candidates can visit these websites to download the admit cards. RRB ALP exam will be conducted on 9th August 2018. RRB Grade D Recruitment exam will be conducted in September 2018. The admit cards for the Group C recruitment examination will be available for download from 4th August 2018 from the official websites.

The official notification for the recruitment drive was published on the website on 25th July. The application has already been over. The wait for the RRB ALP Admit Card release is about to be over since the dates for the release are announced. The candidates would be required to fill in the required login details on the portal to enter into their respective portals and the admit card once issued will be available.

How to Download Admit Card

Candidates can follow the below-stated steps to download the admit cards.

  • The candidate must visit the official website of RRB.
  • The links for the various regions will be available.
  • The candidate must select their region as selected at the time of application.
  • The candidate must enter their login details.
  • The link for Download Admit card will appear.
  • Candidate should click the link and check the details on the admit card that appears on the screen.
  • Candidate should print the Admit card on an A4 size white paper in black and white coloration after verifying the details.
  • Candidate must take 2-3 Xerox copies of this to admit card to avoid any loss or misplacement.

Marks And Exam Pattern

According to the CEN 01/2018 notification, General Category candidates must acquire 40% passing marks, 30% marks are the cut off for OBC candidates, 30% and 25 % marks are mandatory for SC an ST candidates respectively. The candidates must read the information brochure for much more details. For both, the recruitment examination first stage will be a computer-based examination. Followed up by series of tests to select the candidates for the post.

For Group C examination, The preliminary examination will be followed up by the main examination and a computer-based aptitude test. All the examination will be online based and of multiple choice questions. The final selection would require the document verification.

For Group D examination the first level examination will be followed up by Physical Efficiency Test examination. The criteria on which the candidates will be judged is provided in the information brochure published by the Railway Recruitment Board on its official website. The final selection will be done on the basis of the document present with the candidates. The authorities will be verifying the documents to finalize the candidature and Appointment of the candidate. Unlike Group C examination, Group D examination would be deductive marks for each wrong answer about 1/3rd of the mark of each right answer.
