Park for special children to be inaugurated today

Hyderabad: The State of Telangana is all set to inaugurate first of its kind in the whole of the country National Park for Special Needs today at 10 am. The inauguration would be done by K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development and Information and Technology at Nalgonda X roads (Malakpet).The project is jointly managed by Ayesha Educational Foundation, headed by Ayesha Rubina, Corporator of Ahmed Nagar Masab Tank and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

Ayesha Rubina, Corporator of Ahmed Nagar Masab Tank, told The Hans India, “The park is spread out in an area of 1 and a half acre and would have all the medicinal plants in it, which would rejuvenate the senses of children who come in for their therapies.”

Highlighting the other features of the park Ayesha Rubina said, “The children under the categories of Mental Retardation (MR), blind, hearing impaired children can come and take the therapeutic treatment here for free of cost. We would also provide vocational training to the children.”

When asked about the inaugural programme, Ayesha Rubina said, “We have sent invitation to all the schools who promote the education of disabled children, NGO’s who work for the cause of this children and I am very sure most of them would turn up.”
