GHMC felicitates Synchrony Financial for ‘PRAYAAS’

Hyderabad: Synchrony Financial, a premier consumer financial services company was felicitated by GHMC for their innovative initiative “PRAYAAS”. The felicitation ceremony which was conducted as a part of GHMC town hall “Hamara Sheher” was attended by Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, Minister for Information Technology (IT), Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD), Textiles and NRI Affairs Government of Telangana along with other dignitaries and ministers.

PRAYAAS is designed to keep the city clean and improve the hygiene in the city neighbourhood. The program is an attempt to find real solutions to permanently eliminate the open garbage dumps and ugly spaces in the city. 

Synchrony Financial Volunteers along with the residents from local community and GHMC work together to first spot such areas and then fix them by cleaning the premises. To ensure that the cleanliness is retained, the team will also beautify the place by adoring it with paintings. The programme which has been running as a pilot project for over a month has received fantastic response from the communities.
