Hyderabad:  Minister for Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that 20 libraries in twin cities will get a facelift with Rs 1 crore special funds at the disposal of the District Collector Yogita Rana.

He was addressing librarians at a review meeting held at Secretariat here on Monday. District Collector Yogita Rana was also present. She attributed her becoming the district collector to reading books in library during childhood. She said librarians should treat libraries as their homes and discharge their duties. Then only the libraries will flourish.

If necessary, he would take the issue to the notice of the Chief Minister and strive for getting funds released to them.
