Encroachment attempt resisted

Qutubullahpur: Locals in the Suraram colony thwarted the attempt by illegal real estate business men to encroach into the government land allocated for park and complained to the civic authorities. 

The land belonged to the Housing Board colony in the survey 107 of Suraram colony where government provide housing for weaker sections. 

The land measuring about 2,500 sqft near Suraram last bus stop was actually allotted for park for the residents of the colony. However, some miscreants tried to level the land in order to carry out construction activity. 

Local Corporator Shanti Shri was complained about the same and she assured that she will not let the land encroached by anyone and asked the civic authorities to take cognizance of the matter.
