‘IKAT ART Mela’ @ Madhapur

Madhapur: Upcoming Tollywood actress Shirin Kanchawal formally inaugurated Pochampally IKAT Art Mela 2018 at State Gallery of Fine Arts, Madhapur, organised by Pochampally Handloom Park.

“It’s gladdening to see various apparels, particularly designer fabrics, silk and cotton sarees, showcased for the fashion connoisseurs” said Shirin. “Platforms such as this are required to reach out to women looking for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear & exclusive home textiles, which can see the blend of different styles and concepts of handloom creations coming together under one roof.

`On display is a colourful range of fabrics like home textile to apparel fabrics, stoles , scarves, and sarees in silk & cotton, duppatas, table mats, covers, cotton shirts & Kurtis, Hand bags’ Ex-Chairman, Krishna Chikka - pochampally Handloom park. Weavers and exhibiting their creations of different genres of handloom products in vibrant colours and textures in wide variety and styles” he added. The exposition will be on till 26th Feb 2018.
