Traffic homeguard severely injured

L B Nagar: A traffic homeguard on duty at Sagar Ring Road was severely injured on being hit by an RTC bus on Wednesday. 

The Home Guard, Venkateswarlu, was shifted to Kamineni Hospital. His condition is said to be critical as he sustained head injuries. 

 K Ramesh Naidu, Deputy Commissioner Police (traffic) Rachakonda visited Venkateswarlu at the hospital and enquired from the doctors the injured’s condition.  

LB Nagar Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Narasimha Reddy and Circle Inspector Nagamallu were present.
