4,000 police constables recruitment soon

Medak:   Telangana Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy said the police department will take up the recruitment of 4,000 police constable posts in the State soon and 33 per cent reservation will be given for women in the recruitment. 

The Home Minister on Friday inaugurated SPDO office building here as the chief guest and minister Harish Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy were the guests of honour in the program. Speaking at the launch of the DSP office, Home Minister said as many as 45 new police stations will be launched and the steps are being taken for the construction of SP offices in the districts. 

The law and order is in control in the State and the government is giving priority for the welfare of the police personnel, noted the Minister. District Superintendent of Police, Collector, DSPs Sub Inspectors and other officials participated in the program.

Later, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy, Collector Dharma Reddy and Joint Collector Nagesh participated in several programs such as inauguration of Integrated Boys Hostel complex in the town and launching of pump house at Jakkannapet and an awareness camp on the fisheries development and fishermen in the district. A review meeting with District level officials on the developmental works in the district was also held at Medak on Friday.
