DSP holds a review meet on long-pending cases

Vikarabad: District Superintendent of Police T Annapurna enquired about the progress of investigations. She reviewed about the cases as per circle and station wise in a meeting here on Thursday. She enquired about the long pending cases, UI and compound cases. She told them to carry out investigation so that the guilty could be punished. Officers who lead successful investigations would be rewarded, she announced.

The SP directed the officials to focus on illegal transportation of sand. She told them to utilise TS Cop App and CCTNN (e-petty cases) effectively. She ordered the officials to review the cases on weekly basis and submit a report on compound cases and NBW cases. Annapurna asked the police officials to utilise the technology as much as possible.

Programmes like cordon and search, friendly policing, community policing, village policing should be implemented from time to time effectively, she said. Vikarabad DSP Sirisha, Tandur DSP Ramachandrudu, Parigi DSP Srinivas, CIs, SIs and others were present.
