Collectors told to make Rythu Bandhu Scheme a grand successs: CS
Sangareddy: Telangana Chief Secretary SK Joshi ordered the collectors to make the Rythu Bandhu Scheme a grand success which is to be implemented from May 10 to 17. The Chief Secretary through the video conference at Hyderabad, reviewed the district wise arrangements with collectors for the issuance of land patta passbooks and Investment Support Scheme for the farmers.
He said the printing of the passbooks and cheques are completed and were already dispatched to the districts and mandal headquarters. The issuance of passbooks to the total 57.33 lakh farmers will be implemented from 7am to 11am and again between 5pm to 7.30pm for the smooth conduct keeping in view of scorching sun and so far, 52.73 lakh farmers completed their Aadhaar seeding and 4.60lakh farmers are due. The slips of Rythu Bandhu Scheme should be supplied to the farmers prior to the distribution of passbooks with digital signatures.
The venues for the distribution should have drinking water, tents for shade with first aid kits along with the ANMs presence, directed the Chief Secretary. The Collectors were guided to direct the bankers to make sure they have all the sufficient cash at banks to serve the farmers in withdrawing the cheques with any identity proof to avoid the cash troubles. The passbooks with mistakes of discrepancies of photos or Aadhaar numbers of farmers should be reissued after the rectification. The officials need to check out the details of the ISS cheques and passbooks once with prior intimation in the villages before the distribution. The seeding of digital signatures should be completed by deploying sufficient personnel as fast as possible, said the CS in the video conference.
