Iran envoy distributes ration for Ramzan

Hyderabad: Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hyderabad, Mohammad Haghbin Ghomi on Monday handed over ration packets to the underprivileged devout for the month of Ramzan.

Anjuman-e-Ittehad-e-Iranian-e-Deccan, a charitable trust, organised the programme for distribution of 2,800 packets during the Ramzan. The programme was organised at Darbar-e-Hussaini in Purani Haveli where the Consul General was invited to take part in the charity work and he distributed some of the packets to the needy. Each of these packets contained rice, sugar, pulses, oil, salt and bread packets.
