AITUC criticises KCR

Himayatnagar: AITUC national general secretary Amarjeet Kaur criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his comments on RTC strike at AITUC Telangana state council meeting at SN Reddy Bhavan on Sunday.

State should concede to demands of the workers, she urged. Kaur demanded equal pay for equal work to the workers. The general secretary blamed Narendra Modi government at Centre for bulldozing workers’ rights. Warning that amendment of Labour Acts would lead to largescale protests and agitations, Kaur alleged that the Modi government’s four-year rule failed in all fronts.

She also pointed out to the rise in corruption, essential commodities and petro prices. AITUC president T Narasimhan, general secretary Ujjini Ratnakar Rao, deputy general secretary S Balraj, deputy president P Prem Pavani, V SeethaRamaiah, K Gangadhar Rao were present.
