TUWJ pays tribute to Hanumantha Rao

Tandur: Members of Telangana Union of Working Journalist (TUWJ) paid tributes to the deceased Journalist Hanumantha Rao, here at Ambedkar chowk on Friday. The condolence meeting organised by TUWJ Tandur Division President G Ashok Kumar, where Congress leaders Dr Sampath, Dhara Singh BJP leader U Ramesh Kumar participated and expressed grief over sad demise of journalist from Kondapaka in Siddipet district. They demanded the government to sanction double bedroom flats to the journalists. 

They criticised the state government for not extending any support to the scribes even after four years of rule. Earlier, they garlanded the photo of Hanumantha Rao and lighted candle and observed two minutes silence. Journalists Prabhakar, Lingesh, Ramesh, Shivanand Singh, Vignesh, Venkat, Venkatramana Reddy, Mukthar, Gopal Yadav, Roop Singh and scribes from Print and Electronic media were present.
