Sunita assures scribes on Press Club

Tandur:  Municipal Chairperson Sunita Sampat on Wednesday assured a group journalist, who had called on her that she would strive for construction of a Press Club here. The Telangana Union of Working Journalists, led by its president G Ashok Kumar, earlier, called on her and submitted a memorandum seeking establishment of a Press Club building. 

She said that she would include it in the agenda of the general body meeting of the municipality and see to it that a resolution is adopted to this extent. She said that a temporary structure would house the Press Club soon and the Press Club would move when the permanent building is ready. 

Senior scribes Lingesh, Saber, city ad hoc committee convener Ravi Shanker, commissioner Bhogeswarlu and others were present in the delegation that called on the municipal chairperson.
