Musheerabad: TRS state labour wing president Rambabu Yadav on Friday assured the outsourcing staff of HMWSSB to strive for securing health cards by taking the issue to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s notice.

Addressing as chief guest the working committee meeting of Water Works Employees’ Union at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, Rambabu sought the union’s support in ensuing Karmika Sangham polls. Yadav assured the meeting to focus special attention on trying to solve the outsourcing staff problems by KCR, particularly the health cards for which they have been waiting for years.

He alleged that the other labour unions were raising small issues to bring about a divide among the TRS workers, while advising the union to back the ruling party for finding solutions to their problems. Yadav pledged the government’s lasting support to the union. Among those present at the meeting were State TRS labour wing general secretary Pulimamidi Narayana, union president Raji Reddy, vice-president Jahangir, geneal secretary Lakshman Kumar, Medchal Srinivas, Chandrasekhar, Vishwanath.
