SCR stresses on maintenance of tracks
Hyderabad: Vinod Kumar Yadav, general manager, South Central Railway stressed up on maintenance of the track and other related assets round-the-clock to ensure safety. He stated that the responsibility of the Section Engineers (Track) was very crucial in maintaining the track and track related assets. He was speaking at a seminar on “Track Management System (TMS), Stores Module on Wednesday at Principal Chief Engineer’s conference hall, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.
The seminar was being hosted by Engineering Department in coordination with the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), New Delhi. Around 50 per cent of Senior Section Engineers (Track) from all over the zone participated in the seminar.
KV Siva Prasad, Principal Chief Engineer advised the staff to work with dedication and commitment. He assured that the issues/grievances raised by the participants during the interactive session would be resolved immediately. He also suggested solutions to several technical problems encountered in day-to-day working. Further he advised the participants to send the detailed proposals for upgradation and improvements to infrastructure facilities.
