Haj volunteers told to remain alert during Pilgrimage
Haj panel asks Khadim ul Hujjaj to serve the pilgrims right from commencement of journey till their return
Hyderabad: For ensuring better coordination between the Haj Committee and pilgrims, the Khadim ul Hujjaj (Haj Volunteers) were asked by chairman, Haj Committee to focus on guiding the pilgrims and to cooperate in need of urgency during pilgrimage.
Mohammed Masiullah Khan chairman Telangana State Haj Committee advised the volunteers to work with dedication and devotion and serve the Haj pilgrims right from commencement of journey till their return to Hyderabad.
In a meeting, he said that the Khadim ul Hujjaj were considered as an important link between the Haj pilgrims, the Government and the Haj Committee.
They must assist the pilgrims in their time of need, during urgency like loss of baggage or the money during extreme circumstances like demise of a pilgrim.
Prof SA Shukoor, Special Officer said that the Khadim ul Hujjaj must be in constant touch with the State Haj Committee, Consul General India Jeddah and carry on the instructions issued to them from time to time and must wear the jackets given to them.
He cautioned that on the unsatisfactory performance, disciplinary action would be taken against them and the amount incurred on them would be recovered.
