Auto finance company locks house of a customer

Qutbullapur: In a latest case of a finance company cracking the whip on a customer, aauto finance company locked the house of its customer when he failed to pay the monthly installment in Qutbullahpur. The victim complained against the company to SR Nagar police on Thursday.

According to police, Shaik Azhar Ullah, who lives in Suraram Colony since 20 years took a Bajaj diesel auto (AP 28 TE 6884) auto for finance from Shree Nakoda Auto Finance, Erragadda. The agreement was made on January 7, 2018. The victim paid Rs 18,000 (out of total amount Rs 75,000) as down payment. The balance of Rs 57,000 was split into 15 EMI’s. Shaik Azhar paid one month installment for the month of February.

The finance company did not return the papers to the victim. The finance company took away the auto on June 5 from his possession and started threatening him to pay the due amount immediately. The representatives from the finance company locked the house on Thursday. The victim Shaik Azhar Ullah complained to SR Nagar police on August 16. Auto union leaders Mohammed Amanullah Khan, Mirza rafatullah Baig and A Sathi Reddy brought this to the notice of local police. A case has been registered.
