Bhagat Singh death anniversary observed in Khammam
Khammam: State Convenor of the Student Federation of India (SFI) Sadinni Rajani here on Wednesday appealed to the students to follow in the footsteps of revolutionary leader and great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Rich tributes were paid by offering floral tributes to the portrait of Bhagat Singh on his death anniversary. The SFI activists observed the death anniversary of the revolutionary here at the Government High School at Chimmapudi village in Khammam district. Speaking on this occasion, Rajani said at the tender age of just 23 Bhagat Singh participated in the freedom struggle along with Rajguru and Sukhdev.
Their sacrifices were not recognised by the successive governments. He exhorted the youth to follow the revolutionaries in their footsteps. The TSUTF mandal president M Srinivas Rao, SFI representatives Ramesh, Madhu, K Venkatesh, Sai Ram, Usha, Ashkara, Shravant Kanna were present along with others.
