MLA Komatireddy promises to help Inter topper
Nalgonda: Former Minister and Chairman of Komatireddy Pratheek Foundation Komatireddy Venkat Reddy here on Thursday advised the students to acquire general knowledge and skills required for facing competitive examinations.
Participating in a programme, Venkat Reddy presented a set general knowledge books to Md Akram, a topper in Intermediate examinations. He studied in Komatireddy Pratheek Memorial Government Junior College here.
The former Minister promised to help Akram fulfil his ambition to become an IAS officer. Akram said he was too poor to pay for special coaching. He advised the student to study diligently and acquire knowledge. He also said he would soon establish a computer lab in the junior college to help students acquire skills.
Principals of Junior and vocational colleges thanked Venkat Reddy profusely for extending help to the poor students. Principals Narendrakumar, Ashok Reddy, lecturers Sudarani, Ismail, Yadaiah, Laxmi and others participated in the programme.
