NIFT students visit Handloom Park at Bhoodan Pochampally

Bhoodan Pochampally (Yadadri- Bhongir): Students of National institute of Fashion Technology of Hyderabad visited the Handloom Park at Kanumukkala village under Bhoodan Pochampally mandal in the district on Wednesday.

As part of study tour, as many as 30 students visited the park and interacted with the weavers to know the process to make the world famous ikat clothes on handlooms. 

Students appreciated the skill of weavers and designs of Ikat clothes with changing trends. They felt that Ikat designer clothes are best suited for home furnishings and interior decorations. Coordinator Rajesh Kumar guided the students during their tour to Handloom Park.
