KTR: Telangana has achieved 10.4% growth in GSDP
Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday launched the Industries department annual report in Hyderabad where he stated that Telangana has been ranked first in ease of doing business and TS-iPass worked for its’ contribution by attracting total investment of Rs 1.23 lakh crore since June 2015 and 47 percent of which was contributed on the last financial year.
He informed that the state has achieved a 10.4 percent year-on-year growth in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) while last year, it was a national average of 6.6 year-on-year growth.
KTR said that the share of Telangana’s economy on the national GDP has increased mine basis points to 4.37 percent in 2017-18 from 4.28 percent in 2016-17.
The Minister further said that during 2017-18, TSIIC has developed 148 industrial parks with core infrastructure and allotted 195.25 acres to 460 industries.
