NRI drowns in North Carolina waterfall

A pall of gloom descended on Gottemukkala village near Kanchikacharla mandal on Sunday as Gogineni Nagarjuna, an NRI with roots in the village, died in the US. 

According to sources, Nagarjuna is software engineer in the US and drowned while on a picnic to a waterfall in North Carolina. Information about his tragic death was conveyed to his parents and relatives in Gottemukkala by his friends in the US.
