EC gets High Court nod to publish final voter list: Rajat Kumar

​Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar on Wednesday said that the High court gave its nod to publish the final list of voters on October 12. The voters list will be made public after rectifying the applications submitted by the voters to the commission. 

The CEO said that the Commission had received 33.14 lakh applications out of which 22.36 lakh members are new voters. The commission scrutinised 30 lakh applications as valid and the remaining 3.12 lakh applications were rejected. He is confident that the final electoral rolls will be error free.
