TUWJ leaders met DGP and requested him to intervene on the cases filed by railway police on jounalists

  Telangana State Union of Working Journalists leaders met DGP M Mahendar Reddy and requested him to intervene in the matter of DG Prisons Vinoy Kumar Singh who is making derogatory statements on media. Union leaders said as a plan deteriorating the values of media channels by maling false allegations on them.

They alleged that to escape from the allegations on him, hevpressurised the railway police and kept cases on journalists. They demanded withdraw of cases against the journalists who are doing their jobs in the interest of public.

 

If DG Prisons V K Singh did not change his attitude towards media and control his derogatory language the union leaders going to meet Governer and Chief Secretary for justice.
