Candidate gives out slippers, asks people to beat him if he fails to fulfil promises in Jagitial

 An independent candidate in Telangana grabbed headlines with his weird election campaign where he distributed slippers to the public and asked them to beat him if he does not fulfil the promises. 

Akula Hanumantha Rao, who is contesting from Korutla constituency of Jagitial district handed out slippers along with a pamphlet during his door-to-door campaign and asked them to beat with the slippers. He also gave his resignation letter for future saying that they have right to get him off from the MLA seat if he does not work well. 

The pictures of Rao giving away the slippers to candidates are going viral on social media.

Rao is fielding against the TRS candidate Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao from Korutla assembly constituency who won in 2014 elections and Congress candidate J Narsing Rao.
