Govt may help people build own 2BHK houses: Minister

Jagitial: Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar on Saturday informed that the government is preparing proposals of providing financial help so that the people can construct double bedroom houses their own plots.

During his tour of Velgutur mandal, the Welfare Minister participated in various developmental works and laid foundation stone for the construction of panchayath building, SC community building and CC road at a cost of 39.8 lakh from NRGS, DMFT and CRR fund here at Godishala village of the mandal in Jagtial district.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said with an investment of Rs.4.28 crore several developmental works were taken up in Godishalapet and Gopalaraopet villages. The government has also sanctioned Rs 25, 000 crore for about 9,000 persons through the Chief Ministers Relief Fund, he added.

The Minister also inaugurated the purchasing centre here at Yendupalli village of Velugutur mandal. The farmers and the local people palabhishekam to the flexy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for establishing a purchsing centre in their locality in the presence of the Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar.

Velugutur Agriculture Market Committee chairman A Krishna Reddy, MPP Lakshmi, ZPTC Sudharani, vice MPP Kavitha, former MP G Ashok, Village Sarpanchs M Swarupa, M Jalendhar and others were present.
