Lakshs of devotees take holy dip at Suryalanka Beach

  Guntur: Lakhs of devotees thronged to Suryalanka Beach near Bapatla took holy dip on Friday on the occasion of auspicious Karthika Poornima (Full MoonDay ).Devotees from Guntur and  surrounding towns in Prakasam district thronged to Suryalanka Beach and took holy deep since 5 am.

MLC Annam Satish Prabhakar performed Sagara Ratna Garbha Harati to the sea.He given Yeka Haarati,Rudra Haarati, Kumbha Harati,and Veda Haarati. They fired  crackers and started Karthika Poornima snanams. After taking holy bath in the sea,devotees went to Bhavannarayana temple and performed pujas.Women lit lamps in the temple.

Meanwhile, large number number of devotees went to Kotappakonda and performed pujas to the presiding deity Trikoteswamy and performed pujas .The devastanam authorities performed Eka DasaRudra Bhishekam, Lakha Bilwarchana. 

Similarly, special pujas were performed Amaralingeswara Swamy in Amaralingeswara Swamy temple in Amaravati. Devastanam made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees.
