Congress committed for providing SCS to AP- Tulasi Reddy

Kadapa: Exuding confidence of congress party emerging to power in 2019 general elections, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) vice president N.Tulasi Reddy said that his party national president Rahul Gandhi was keen on providing Special Category Status (SCS) to the Andhra Pradesh as he will do first signature on that particular file immediately after assuming charge as Prime Minister of India.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday however the PCC vice president admitted that injustice has been made to the state during the bifurcation due to political reasons. After the state bifurcation Congress party has recollected of its fault over doing injustice, now committed to develop the state in all fronts.

He said providing SCS was taken in the high level meeting of AICC of which Rahul Gandhi revealed the same during the several meetings he participated in Andhra Pradesh. While thanking Sonia Gandhi for announcing congress party decision over SCS to the AP he said Gandhi family always wishing the development of AP as it was proved during the congress rule the state.

He said people of the country lost confidence over BJP lead NDA rule as it has responsible in destroying the sanctity of all independent agencies by involving it official matters as it will leads democracy at cross roads. He said people are waiting for opportunity to teach lesson to the BJP in appropriate time. DCc President SK. Nazir Ahmed and others were present.
