Aurabindo workers intensify agitation Demanding to settle their problems
Srikakulam: Workers of Aurabindo pharmaceutical company stage agitation in front of the company main gate at Pydibhimavaram in Ranastalam mandal under the aegis of CITU on Saturday by protesting management’s negligence in solving their grievances.
On the occasion they staged dharna by tying their eyes with badges to show how the management is cheating its workers by not implementing minimum wages, not providing job security, not allotting funds for development of villages which are being affected due to its pollution.
Speaking on the occasion CITU state vice president, Duppala GovindaRao said that for the last eight months the company management neglecting its workers and their welfare by violating rules and regulations of the government. The management is even not providing jobs to local qualified youth and not allotting funds for development of villages which are being affected due to its pollution he lamented.
He also pointed out that the company is not interested to allot funds under corporate social responsibility (CSR) for improvement of local areas. CITU leader, P.Tejeswara Rao, Aurabindo company workers took part in the agitation.
