Sugar factory closure a big mistake -YS Jagan lamented

Srikakulam: Closure of Sugar factory at Amudalavalasa by the then NDA and TDP governments was a big mistake lamented YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He covered eight villages in Srikakulam assembly segment on Monday as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. On the occasion sugarcane farmers explained their woes to Jagan after closure of Sugar factory at Amudalavalasa. 

Responding to it Jagan said that it was a mistake of the then NDA and TDP governments at center and state. He assured to clear it after assuming power. People of Velama caste belonging to north coastal AP asked to form a corporation for their welfare for which YS Jagan responded positively.

Concast company workers at Dusi explained their problems after closure of the company without notice to workers and they sought YS Jagan intervention for its re-opening. Farmers belonging to Narayanapuram project ayacut villages explained that the project is yet to provide water sufficiently at least to one crop during kharif season and government failed to complete modernization works. 

For which Jagan assured to finish works if the YSRCP assumes power in 2019 elections. Paddy farmers explained that the district officials are yet to start paddy purchasing centers in the district as a result they are being exploited by the middlemen and traders.
