Mid-day meal workers sought YS Jagan support

Srikakulam: Mid-day meal workers who are working at all government schools sought YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy support to clear their woes. As part of his ongoing Praja Sankalpa Yatra YS Jagan continued his Padayatra in Srikakulam and Narasannapeta assembly segments on Saturday. On the occasion he paid rich tributes to Potti Sriramulu on the eve of his death anniversary before launching Pada yatra at Alikam village. During his Padayatra mid day meal workers met him and explained their problems for late payment of bills, insufficient amount and handing over mid day meal contracts to various other NGOs like Akshaya foundation etc. As a result they lost their livelihood and sought YS Jagan intervention to clear their problems responding to it Jagan also assured to clear their problems after assuming power.
Later Sri Sayana and Telaga castes people met YS Jagan and asked separate reservations to both castes and corporation for their development without merging other castes. They said that they will support YSRCP in coming elections if assured clearly. Students agriculture B.Sc of Naira college also met YS Jagan and they strongly objected government decision in giving permissions to private agriculture colleges. They demanded priority to them in recruitments regarding agriculture and rural sector and Jagan also assured for that. Contract workers of Naira college also expressed their un happy over meager payments and lack of job security to them. Later Jagan concluded his Padayatra at Devadi village in the evening.
