High alert to continue for another 24 hours

 Vizianagaram: Andhra Pradesh Minister Sujaya Krishna Rangarao has directed the district officials to remain on a high alert for another 24 hours in view of the Cyclone Phethai . He told the district administration to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected people. 

He conducted a tele-conference with District Collector Hari Jawahar Lal, joint collector Venkata Ramana Reddy, ITDA PO Lakshmi Shah, RDOs JV Murali, Sudarshan Dora, DEO Nagamani and other higher officials. He advanced several suggestions on the relief and rehabilitation steps. 

He also wanted the officials to take up rehabilitation measures in Pusapatirega and Bhogapuram and visit the affected areas. He asked the medical staff to ensure adequate supply of medicines and other equipments in the hospitals.
