BMRCL shutting down Metro services between Indiranagar and MG Road stations

Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), undertaking a major repair work near the Trinity Circle Metro Station, will shut down Metro services between Indiranagar and MG Road stations from 28 December (8 pm) to 30 December. 

According to the release by BMRCL, Metro services between MG Road and Indiranagar Metro stations will be stopped from 8 pm on 28 December to 30 December (all day). The release added, “On December 28, the train leaving on or before 7.30pm from Mysore Road (Nayandahalli Metro Station) will run up to Baiyapanahalli and the train leaving from Baiyapanahalli on or before 7.30pm will run up to Mysore Road. Then trains from Mysore Road will run till MG Road.”

The train services between Mysore Road and MG Road — also between Indiranagar and Baiyappanahalli— will remain operational. However, Green Line services will be normal, the statement added. 

BMRCL said it would operate free bus services between Cubbon Park Station and Baiyappanahalli Station on 28 December (between 8 and 11 pm) and 29 and 30 December (all day).

The BMRCL also stated that the train services will be restored on 31 December 2019 around 5 am after the maintenance work at the Trinity Circle Metro Station has been completed.
