Central government suppressing AP: Naidu
Amaravati: On the very first day of New Year, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu raised concerns over the unresolved issues related to AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, by saying that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has been suppressing the state, at a press conference here at Undavalli in Guntur on Tuesday while releasing tenth White Paper.
He said that the centre didn't implement the Act with true spirit which further pushed the State into vulnerable situation.
He added that when state was bifurcated, the people of Andhra Pradesh elected him for the development of State and he has been putting all energies for that till date.
He said that at that time he joined the hands with BJP during last general elections for the benefit of AP and it's development. He said that he trusted the BJP and Modi that they would help in the development of State and would implement the bifurcation Act with true spirit. But, after completing four and half years, he felt that there was a breach of trust and explained that they cheated the state on all grounds.
