Remembering Kader Khan

The veteran character actor, comedian and dialogue writer Kader Khan, ex-college professor, has sadly left for heaven having lived till 81. He acted till 79 years of age. There cannot be any cinegoer who would not know Kader Khan for his different types of roles especially villain and witty dialogues and roles. His presence is always felt in any movie in which he acted of any type of role. There is no match for his versatile successful talent as a true actor.

He started his acting career in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s Daag’.     Few out of a long list of successful movies are – “Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Dulhe Raja’ ‘Muqaddar ka Sikander’, ‘Desh Premee’, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, ‘Parvarish’,’’Lawaris’ etc. He won three Filmfare Awards -two Best Dialogue writer and one for Best Comedian for “Meri Awaze Suno” (1983), “Angaar (1993) and ‘Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri” (1991). He would be remembered for his immense contribution to Indian/Bollywood entertainment film industry. Let his soul rest in peace.
