KCR-Naidu war intensifies

The eagerness shown by TRS in embracing YS Jagan is intended to spell doom to the electoral prospects of Chandrababu Naidu rather than to strengthen Federal Front which touts to crush both BJP and Congress in 2019 Parliament elections. (Federal friendship boon or bane - THI, January 17). But, it is an open secret that TRS wants to help BJP to return to power again  in order to have a post poll alliance with it so that some TRS leaders such as Harish Rao can be sent to Delhi as Central Cabinet Ministers with a farsightedness of having no threat from them to KTR who is widely  perceived to be the successor of KCR to become the CM of Telangana in due course. 

Certainly, the master plan in formation of Federal Front is to split the anti- BJP votes by ensuring multiple candidates in the fray against BJP in as many constituencies as possible so that it is easy for BJP to win the contest when there is no common candidate on behalf of all opposition parties. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu has become a thorn in the flesh of KCR who is worried about impending political problems, threats and dangers he and his party have to face in future if a powerful politician like Chandrababu Naidu is allowed to continue in power in AP.   

Moreover, Chandrababu Naidu, as CM of AP for five more years , would perhaps play a vital role at Centre in crucial areas such as deciding the Prime Ministerial candidate and also in decision making process of next central government which may reduce the importance of KCR at national level. No doubt, KCR will be able to call the shots at national level if Chandrababu Naidu is pushed in to political wilderness where his voice will attract  no attention from political quarters . 

In everyway, it is a very important strategy for KCR to politically weaken Chandrababu Naidu and hence exploring all options in this direction including usage of derogatory language against him to defame him. His political friendship with Jagan needs to be seen in this perspective. How Chandrababu Naidu , a shrewd political strategist,  would chalk out plans to come out with success in the ensuing elections despite there being lot of inclement weather for his party  is something to generate immense  interest among political analysts.
